Our care

Care shaped around the individual.

Heathside provides residential care for adults aged 65 and over. Every admission begins with a careful assessment and an honest conversation.

01

Residential care

Support with personal care, medication, meals, mobility, daily routines and companionship.

02

Dementia residential care

Individual support for people living with mild or moderate dementia in familiar surroundings.

03

Respite and short stays

Temporary care for family respite, recovery or an opportunity to experience life at Heathside.

04

Convalescent care

Support following illness or a hospital stay, subject to assessment of the person’s needs.

05

End-of-life support

Compassionate residential support delivered with families and community health professionals.

06

A clear assessment

We will always be open about whether residential care is appropriate and safe.

Important distinction

Heathside does not provide nursing care.

We do not have registered nurses on site. We work with GPs, district nurses and community professionals where appropriate, but people who need continuous clinical or nursing support will usually require a nursing home.
