Mild to moderate dementia
Support is considered individually. We do not present one diagnosis as meaning the same level of need for everyone.
Dementia residential care
Heathside supports older people living with mild or moderate dementia in a familiar residential setting, subject to a careful assessment.
Individual support
Heathside provides residential care for people living with mild or moderate dementia where their needs can be safely met without continuous nursing care.
We focus on familiar faces, calm routines, personal preferences and close communication with families.

Dementia affects people differently. We assess the person’s current needs, mobility, communication, medication, behaviour, risks and daily routines before confirming whether Heathside is suitable.
Support is considered individually. We do not present one diagnosis as meaning the same level of need for everyone.
Families can help us understand life history, preferences, routines and what helps the person feel secure.
Heathside does not have registered nurses on site. People needing continuous clinical nursing support will usually require a nursing home.
A smaller setting can make familiar faces and direct communication easier to maintain.
Talk it through
Tell us about the person and their current needs. We will explain honestly whether Heathside may be suitable.
